Marionberry Style: Guest Post

Today, I’m excited to introduce you to the beautiful Marion from Marionberry Style.  If you read her blog, you already know that not only does she have amazing style, but she is absolutely hilarious! Take it away Marion…
Your alarm goes off at 5:30 a.m.
You fall into the shower and then walk in a semi-aware state toward your closet.
Then you stand there for a good 5 minutes…just staring.  As if your clothes were a giant 1,000-piece puzzle that needed to be solved when your brain is at half capacity.

So when I’m having a particularly rough morning, I always reach for black and white combinations.  Why?

1)  Black and white is flattering on every body shape, size and coloring.
2)  You can’t mess up the layering.  I dare you to try.
3)  Black is awesome in hiding stains.  I work with little kids (I’m a school psychologist) and have a 6-month old son…black is a critical color in my life!

So some may proclaim that black and white is boring…but what do YOU think?
Thanks for having me Tara!!  Hope you are having a great vacation.

You can never go wrong with black and white, I tend to do the same! I’m head over heels for the first look, is so polished and effortless chic, the bag is to die for!

I’ve been reading Marion’s blog for almost a year now and love her style 🙂 She helped figure out what was appropriate to wear for my internship and what was not. I loved this guest post by her, reminds me that I should go and read her latest updates! xo

Black and White has been one of my favorite trends for a while now. I have a feeling it will stick around for fall/winter too with pops of fall tones. Gorge looks girl!

That’s such a great idea! I will have to make black and white my go to! When I don’t know what to wear, I grab a button up and pencil skirt. But I like the idea of still getting creative with a black and white look!
