I’m thrilled to kick off my new blog design with my What I Wore to Work Linkup! This weekly feature is always a favorite of mine because I love seeing everyone’s creative and fun work outfits. We are proving that work outfits don’t have to mean boring! Today, I’m giving this striped chevron dress that I wore a few weeks ago another go. I used the dress as a blank canvas and added a splash of color with my necklace and cobalt bag.
Switching gears, I want to give a huge thank you to my designer Melyssa who was able to perfectly carry out my vision for this site. I wanted something that looked a little bit more grown up, but still me. I told her I wanted mostly neutrals with one bold pop of color, and I think the teal was the perfect choice. She also made my transition from Blogger to WordPress a not-so-scary experience. It was my hope that this site would be much easier to navigate for my readers. (please let me know what you think!) Categories, my archives, and a search bar are all now easily accessible on my sidebar. Moving forward, I will now be tagging all of my posts into these categories, hopefully making everything more organized…I was so bad about doing this before! I also plan to go back and sort previous posts into categories…the upcoming end of the school year will be very helpful in finding time to do that! My About Me page has also been updated to give a bit more information about myself….and also contains some adorable pictures of my dogs!
