What I Wore to Work Weekly Linkup #55: Purple

Floral & Stripes Purple pencil skirt

Le Tote

Floral and stripes have always been my two favorite patterns to mix.  If you are new to pattern mixing, these are the two I recommend trying first.  This floral top came in my Le Tote subscription, and it just happened to perfectly match my purple pencil skirt, so of course I had to pair them together.  This striped cardigan is so perfect for pattern mixing.  The size of the stripes is just right, and the navy and white combo pair well with most anything!

I’m not always huge on pattern mixing, but I think it really works in this outfit! The bold and streamlined stripes go so well with the subtle and flowing floral.
