Mint and Chambray Shirt

I have been looking for a new chambray shirt for a while now, and when I read Jean’s review of this one I figured I would give it a try.  I’m so glad that I did!  The chambray shirt is so soft and buttons up with no gaping, which is a rarity for me.  It comes in both regular and petite sizes.  I’m tempted to order it in other colors…this pink color could be really fun!

Here, I’ve paired the shirt with a mint pencil skirt.  I’ve had to replace a bunch of my pencil skirts recently, and this one comes in a variety of colors, and I love that it has pockets.  It also comes in petite, regular, and tall sizes.  I originally ordered the petite, but it ended up being shorter than I liked, so I exchanged it for the regular size.  The skirt is currently on sale for under $45.

This combo is so springy and pleasant! I also just replaced my chambray, I opted for a super soft one from Banana Republic Factory with silver buttons rather than the more traditional bronze look like yours because I wear silver a lot and I really dislike mismatching my metals!
    Great look!

This outfit is SO well put together Tara!! One of my favourite things about your look (as opposed to many fashion bloggers) is that you dont just pair a top and bottom, that everyone else would come up with, and leave it at that. You really make your outfits standout with your accessories! I LOVE the pop of pink from the necklace and how it really ties in the mint and denim!! … Okay, my attack of love is over now haha.
